Flaming Swords were supernatural weapons sometimes wielded by angels.

Aziraphale once had a flaming sword with which he was supposed to defend the Eastern Gate of Eden, but gave it away. In one universe, he rather faced this when faced with the Hounds of Tindalos; Jenny Cornelius lent him what she described as her “own” Flaming Sword, actually a lightsaber, which worked well enough for their purpose but rather confused the angel, who quibbled with the characterisation of it as a Flaming Sword as he understood the term even if it literally fit the description.
